Alina's Cucina is proud to announce that we came in FIRST PLACE today at our first Charity event/competition. We participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters "The BIG Plane Pull." You may be asking yourself, "What is a plane pull?!" It was a fun, unique activity in which teams of 20 people displayed Olympian strength by pulling a 767 jet aircraft! The BIG Plane Pull was the signature event of King County International Airport's 80th Anniversary Open House today.
We are proud to raise $2500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound so that every child who wants a mentor can have one. Chantal is a current Big Sister in the program, and both Shane and Chantal mentored twin "Littles" in Miami.
We had so much FUN and Alina's super baby strength is what gave us our edge! Chantal was wearing Alina in an ergo for the competition!
